This video shows the top 10 goals scored in the 2014 Hockey World Cup.

1. This first goal was scored by Lucas Vila, he plays for Argentina. In this match Argentina were playing South Africa. This goal is very impressive because Lucas hit this reverse shot at a full sprint which is very hard to do and not only was it at a full sprint he managed to beat many players before hand and then powerfully place his shot into the top right hand corner.
2. This second goal was scored by Kieron Govers, he plays for Australia and they were playing England. This goal is a very rare goal to see and very extraordinary to see being executed with such skill. It was the last 5 seconds of the 1st halve, the right through an Ariel ball into the circle which was perfectly placed for Lucas to tap in with great skill.
3. This 3rd goal was scored by Ellen Hoog who plays for the Netherlands.  They were playing Belgium and Ellen Hoog scored this amazing reverse shot which went into the top left corner to put Netherlands into the leed at the end of the 1st half.
4. The 4th goal was scored by Kathleen Sharkey who plays for the USA. She stole the ball off the German center back which showed great skill and bravery to attack the player, she then hit the ball on the reverse into the side netting to put the USA 3 nil up.
5. The 5th goal was scored by Gonzalo Peillat who plays for Argentina. This goal was scored from a short corner, Gonzalo ripped the ball with a tremendous amount of power into the top left to put Argentina ahead against Korea.
6. This 6th goal was scored by Peng Yang who plays for china. She hit this amazing squeeze shot which found the top left corner. This goal put China ahead in the game against England.
7. The 7th goal I think is the best goal out of the 10 here shown. This goal was scored by Kim Lammers who plays for The Netherlands. This goal is extraordinary as she deflected the ball through her legs but also at a very tight angle which is very hard to do which is why I think is the best goal.
8. The 8th goal was scored by Simon Child who plays for New Zealand. For this goal he beat 3 defenders while running into the circle and then finishing the attack off with a squeeze shot flying past the goal keeper.
9. The 9th goal was scored by Simon Mantell who plays for england. This goal came from a short corner which was saved by the dragflick but Simon Managed to control the ball and hit an up-right reverse into the side netting to send away a very impressive goal to put England in the leed against India.
10. The 10th goal was scored by Simon child once again. Here he showed great skill and ball control where he managed to take down a raised reverse pass which was over his shoulder which was very well done, he then controlled the ball and hitting it on the volley with an amazing strike and smashing it into the roof of the net.
